Food security consultations open
The Australian Government is developing a national strategy for food security in remote First Nations communities.
The strategy will be developed in partnership with state and territory governments and First Nations health organisations.
The new strategy will be designed to improve the price, quality and availability of food and other essential groceries in remote communities.
Consultations to inform the strategy are now open.
You can provide feedback in a number of ways:
- join a forum in your region
- come to a face-to-face discussion your community
- provide feedback via an online submission.
More Information is available on the National Strategy for Food Security in Remote First Nations Communities page.
