Workforce Development Support Unit Review

Publication author(s):

Whereto Research-Based Consultancy in partnership with Dilli Wollo

Publication abstract:

Whereto Research-Based Consultancy was commissioned by the Australian Government to review 7 Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS) Workforce Development Support Unit (WDSU) providers that deliver education, training and professional development supports to the NIAA-funded social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) and alcohol and other drug (AOD) workforces. The Review was an important mechanism for supporting a shared understand of the work and value of the WDSUs and need across the sectors they support. Its findings add to the evidence base on the strengths, challenges and needs of the broader SEWB and AOD sectors.
