Two data capability-building projects were established in alignment with Priority Reform Four of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap: Closing the Gap Community Data Projects; and Indigenous Data Network Community Data Projects.
Priority Reform Four commits to increasing the number of regional data projects to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to make decisions about Closing the Gap and their development.
Strengthening local Indigenous data ecosystems, these projects consider various methods to assist participating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations to access, interpret and use data about local outcomes.
This activity will explore how communities have been engaged in the design and delivery of each project and focus on lessons learned to inform next steps.
*This lessons learned replaces two planned evaluations formerly listed on the IAS Evaluation Work Plan: Indigenous Data Network Community Data Projects; Closing the Gap Community Data Projects
