Prescribed Bodies Corporate Capacity Building Evaluation

This evaluation aimed to assess the extent to which the Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBC) Capacity Building program achieved its intended outcomes of building PBC capacity. The evaluation has been discontinued due to the need to strengthen data collection for monitoring and evaluation over the medium term.

A PBC Steering Group has been established with the National Native Title Council to ensure PBCs have greater influence on Native Title policy. The Steering Group is providing advice on options to respond to the funding and capacity needs of the sector. As part of this work, the NIAA will consult the Steering Group on future evaluation requirements for PBC support programs.
