Empowered Communities Partnership Lessons Learned

The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) will work with a supplier to undertake a Lessons Learnt activity involving the ten Empowered Communities (EC) regions, to inform current and future efforts to establish and maintain formal partnerships to enable shared decision making. This project involves engaging with selected opt-in and non-opt-in organisations and backbone organisations within the ten EC regions and key NIAA regional and national staff. 

The scope of this activity was updated in December 2023 and replaces the discontinued Empowered Communities evaluation that was previously listed on the Work Plan.
