Native title representative bodies and service providers

Native title recognises the traditional rights and interests to land and waters of First Nations people. Under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) (the Act) native title claimants can make an application to the Federal Court to have their native title recognised by Australian law. NIAA funds a network of 14 native title representative bodies (NTRBs) and native title service providers (NTSPs) to assist native title claimants and holders.

A map of NTRBs and NTSPs around Australia, prepared by the National Native Title Tribunal, is available on their website.

If you have a query about native title in a particular region, please contact the NTRB-NTSP in that region.
