The Werenbun Rangers are part of the Kakadu Indigenous Ranger Program, based in Kakadu National Park. 

They work under the supervision of National Park staff to deliver the outcomes in the Kakadu National Park Plan of Management. 

Werenbun Rangers have experience in a diverse range of areas that include:  

  • park operations  
  • threatened species and wildlife management  
  • cultural heritage management  
  • integrated feral species control  
  • compliance and visitor management.  

The rangers also attend training activities and meetings.
