Action description

The Commonwealth is working with NACCHO and First Nations stakeholders to lead an independent Review of First Nations health care in prisons (Review), due in mid 2024.  The Review will help improve understanding of current state and territory approaches to delivery of prison health care and provide recommendations for what needs to be done by all Australian governments to improve health outcomes for First Nations people in prison.
