Achievements over the last 12 months:

  • Continued implementation of SCfC across all sites with achievements outlined in performance reports together with supporting evidence.
  • Katherine 2022 - Knowledge Sharing Seminar
  • NIAA received the Bi-Annual Plan from NInti-One. This included feedback from Local Community Boards and Facilitating Partners on what is needed to strengthen the overall program (including practical suggestions on how to improve the way government works in the program and drafts of new reporting forms and community plan templates for workshopping).

Strong partnership elements that continue to be embedded include:

  • 32C(vi) at the request of communities government changed funding to different service providers
  • 32C(iv) direct feedback from community has led NIAA to commence redesigning how NIAA engages with communities, the redesign aims to create a more enabling environment for communities to engage with NIAA to implement the program.
  • An external evaluation will be funded in 2024.

Partnership elements strengthened:

32BC(iii) and 33 remain unmet in 2023.

32C(vii) meets in 2023 – Compilation reports are provided back to communities in easily accessible forms by Ninti One, data sovereignty is a primary consideration of SCFC and communities have the opportunity to be trained and gain experience in local data collection, community surveys and data analysis through the partnership with NInti One.
