Youpla Support Program commences today

Youpla Support Program, supporting mob with the ACBF/Youpla collapse

The Youpla Support Program has been established by the government to support people who were impacted by the collapse of the insurance provider Youpla Group.
The Youpla Group, also called the Aboriginal Community Benefit Fund (ACBF), sold funeral insurance policies to First Nations people.

When they collapsed in March 2022, many people could no longer pay for Sorry Business.

$67 million in funding provided by the government for resolution payments through the Youpla Support Program will help close to 14,000 people recover from financial loss and provide certainty to families.

If you’re eligible for the Youpla Support Program, you don’t have to apply or register- Services Australia will call you.
If you need to pay for Sorry Business urgently, you can call Services Australia on 1800 136 380 to get the process started earlier.
The program runs from 1 July 2024 until 30 June 2026.
