International Women’s Day 2020

Every year, people all over the world come together to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women globally.

This year, the theme is ‘Generation Equality: Realizing women’s rights for an equal future’ recognises the importance of gender equality.

To mark the occasion, different generations of NIAA staff discussed mentorship, changing opportunities and their experiences as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women working in the public service.

Each of these women also share their advice for women of current and future generations.
